- Large Full Well
If you need to capture bright and dim signals in the same image, high dynamic range is key – without it, either high signals are saturated, or dim signals are lost in the noise. With large full well capacity, the maximum signal that can be detected without saturation is increased, extending dynamic range. High dynamic range cameras are also capable of measuring finer intensity changes for applications requiring high accuracy and reliability of measurement.
